Notaries offer a specialist service. For basic UK documents, notaries will be more expensive than solicitors. Notaries primarily deal with overseas documents and price reflects this. Factors which affect price :-

Number of people signing (more people, more ID verification) ?
How many documents are involved ? (the more documents needed, the higher the cost)
Are the documents for you or for a company ? (corporate documents require additional checks)
Will you need apostilles or Embassy Legalisation (these are additional costs per document) ?
How quick do you need the documents completing ? (Urgency increases price).

Prices vary locally. Some areas have very few notaries (and some will involve you travelling).

We will guide you to help you set a budget.

What we would not suggest is looking for the cheapest option. This is rarely the best.
